PE-stamped construction documents, hydrographic surveys, seawall rehabilitation, ADA compliance analysis, and regulatory permitting packages for marina, dock, and coastal infrastructure projects across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
PE-stamped construction documents for ADA-compliant marina access, floating dock systems, gangways, landing piers, piling design, and gantry structures. Full coordination with environmental waterfront design consultants.
Bathymetric surveys, tidal datum establishment (NAVD88, NGVD29, MLW, MLLW), horizontal and vertical control via NYSNet / NYSCorS / OPUS, and intertidal zone mapping for permit applications.
Laser scan analysis of curb ramps, gangways, and upland landing areas against ADAAG 2010 / PROWAG 2023 / ICC A117.1-2017. Post-remediation slope reporting scoped as recording and reporting only.
Reinforced concrete seawall rehabilitation, storm drainage integration, crack control and expansion joint design, and erosion control coordinated with NYSDEC coastal regulations and NFIP flood mapping.
Full drawing packages for USACE, NYSDEC, CT DEEP, NJDEP, NYSDOS, and local approvals. Riparian right line determination, wetland referencing, and permit-ready site plans with tidal datum conversion tables.
Complete construction drawing sets: micropile and pile cap reinforcement plans, upland drainage details, utility routing, expansion joints, curb ramp details, and ADA sign and detectable strip layouts.

25+ sheet PE-stamped construction document set: ADA-compliant 80 ft gangway, floating dock system, micropile-supported reinforced concrete landing, upland drainage, curb ramps, lighting, and utility coordination. Post-remediation laser scan analysis against ADAAG 2010 and PROWAG 2023. NAVD88 vertical datum; NAD83(2011) CT State Plane horizontal control.
10-sheet regulatory approval package: ADA-compliant aluminum gangway (80 ft × 7 ft, 6 ft clear walking surface), floating landing pier (98 sq ft), landing float (21 ft × 12 ft), new piling, extended water line, and electrical feed. Section A-A documents full gangway profile to landing float at MLW = −3.9 NAVD88. Control via NYSNet RTK; NOAA Station 8518490.
14-sheet construction package for main (east) and side (south) seawall rehabilitation: reinforced concrete blanket overlay with #4 epoxy-coated rebar at 9-in. grid, epoxy-grouted anchors, 3% batter, crack control joints. Perforated 8-in. drain system, outfall replacement with check valves, and stormwater drainage profile. Site within CEHA Zone. Field survey by AndesCES.
5-sheet regulatory approval set for dock reconfiguration at Lake Carmel: riparian right line determination, finger pier (24 ft × 5 ft), fixed pier (34 ft × 3.25 ft), floating dock sections, and construction details. MLWL established at 658.2 ft NAVD88 by field observation. Horizontal and vertical control via NYSCorS Station Lake Carmel (NYLC). FEMA Zone AE 660 referenced.
Engineering and surveying services for the replacement of an end-of-life underground storage tank (UST) with a 1,000-gallon protected above-ground storage tank (AST) for gasoline service at an operating marina on Lake Mahopac. AndesCES served as engineer and surveyor of record; Dan Natchez & Associates served as environmental consultant. The constrained waterfront site offered no location satisfying the minimum lot-line separation required under the NYS Fire Code. AndesCES supported preparation of a NYS Department of State variance petition, documenting site constraints and compensating measures: double-wall steel construction, integral spill containment, continuous leak detection with alarm, impact protection bollards on three sides, and a 4-foot mortared stone barrier on the east face.
